With over 15 years of experience in practicing law in Australia and APAC in both private practice and various General Counsel roles, I am now Principal Lawyer at dgbLAW (Aust), a referral-based private practice that delivers an enhanced level of legal and affiliate executive services to commercial clients nationally. I have a dual degree in Law and Business (Accounting) from Queensland University of Technology, and I am a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Governance Institute of Australia (Fellow).
My core competencies include GRC, corporate law, real estate, commercial (transactions and agreements), consumer and workplace matters, franchising and intellectual property.
I have a proven track record of providing insightful and persuasive advice and solutions across these practice areas, leveraging my unique combination of technical skills, transactional experience and business acumen. I work closely with my clients to understand their legal needs and challenges, and to align my strategies with their business goals and values. I am passionate about delivering innovative solutions that add value and create positive outcomes for my clients and stakeholders which include national retailers, franchised systems, telco providers, property developers, and NFP's such as Universal Store, Club Active, Data Box Solutions and e61 Institute. I also have extensive experience in private equity and as a general counsel and company secretary for national brands, such as Amart Furniture and Barbeques Galore.
